In 1976 Bob & Dana Wright, opened Wright's Gymnastics. Wright's has since been a leader in the sport of gymnastics in Indiana and the country. In 1980 they began the first pre-school gymnastics program in the midwest, partly for their daughter Casey. Today, Casey is the current owner of Wright's and FUNdamentals.

Over the last 33 years, Wright's has had continued success. The program has developed NCAA athletes in not only gymnastics, but also track & field, diving, volleyball, golf, and cheerleading. From this we have learned that gymnastics is excellent preparation for all sports. Strength, speed, balance, body awareness, and overall coordination are keys to all sports.

WHY FUNdamentals?

Physical Skill- Gymnastics is one of the only sports that builds total body skills. Running, jumping, spatial awareness, reflex & reaction, strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination are practiced every time kids are in the gym.

Fitness- It's no suprise that America's child obesity rate keeps climbing. Playing outside isn't as available as it was 20 years ago. FUNdamentals is an exercise playground all year round. (And it isn't attached to a fast food restauraunt!)

Self-Discipline- Goal setting, problem solving, work ethic, and time management are all gained through sports, especially gymnastics. Our high school age team gymnasts average above a 4.0 GPA year after year.

Something for everyone- FUNdamentals provides an outlet for a high energy child to positively channel their energy in a safe place. On the other hand, the myriad of skills taught allows a less active child to accomplish goals gaining self-esteem and a love of fitness.

We are the BEST!- No one around can come close to the experience and success of our gymnastics family. We are best, but strive to be better everyday.
